Many of you are wondering how some YouTube channels have dolls that are moving when they film them so today I'm going to talk about how to make an American Girl Doll movie and make your favorite doll actually move around and look alive.

Step One - get a device that has the App Store on it, like your iPhone or iPad.

Step Two - go to the App Store, find the search button

Step Three - type in 'Stop Motion' and start your search

Step Four - You should see 2 apps come up.  One of them is free, it is called 'Stop Motion Studios' and the other one costs about $5.00 and is called 'Stop Motion Studio Pro'.  We used the free one to make the sample above; watch as look-alike doll Ella and Julie Albright get ready for the first day of school.

After you put the individual clips together, you can add the sound effects separately, and the app is really easy to use.
